This part of the Lemuria mini-series is a first contact novel. The ancient Lemurians find themselves in first contact with a planetary environment after a lifetime aboard a contained steel ship. Space travel, discovery of ancient races and ancient aliens with twists and turns to the story of the ark and Perry's discovery of them.
Recommended for Perry Rhodan fans.
I have Perry Rhodan volumes 2 thru around 125, so I like the series. This book felt more like the lead in for the next book rather than a true separate story.
A little better than the first one.
I am thoroughly enjoying the second book. Perry tracks down a second 50,000 year-old Lemurian generation ship that has crashed on a uncharted planet. Energy beings, alien ruins and a mystery,. What more could a fun cosmic pulp give you. Read it.
The story line was spot on keeping the series going and making it hard not to buy this book, or any of the remaining series
This second entry in the Lemuria mini-series continues to move the plot forward--not so quickly as the weekly series moves, however, because the format is a bit different. But it's nice to see Rhodan in action again, although non-German-reading fans have missed out on a couple of thousand issues of the primary series, and we aren't completely up to speed on all the details that characters may refer to during the course of this mini-series. On the whole, though, this volume is entertaining.
